Professor Brandi Pearce speaks on transforming conflict into an opportunity for connection, insight, and innovation.
Conflict is a natural byproduct of collaborating in teams. As organizations become increasingly diverse, we not only have more intellectual capital to leverage, but also the increased potential for conflicts to surface in our teams. In the session, we will discuss the various forms of team conflict and their different sources. We will also explore our own dominate conflict management styles, tactics for proactively encouraging constructive debate, as well as strategies for transforming conflict into opportunities for developing a deeper understanding of others, insights and innovation within teams.
