In this workshop we will learn how recruiters and hiring managers use LinkedIn to source candidates and how to optimize your profile for their searches and to increase your ‘hire-ability.’ We will also discuss best practices in using LinkedIn as a networking and research tool, how to get the highest ROI from your network and how to turn your LinkedIn profile from a passive webpage to an active career progression tool.
With a background in law, marketing and admissions, Mark Friedfeld joined Haas in 2001 after working for the MBA program at the University of Maryland. Following judicial clerkships in Alaska and attorney positions in Washington, D.C., he entered the business world by joining the Princeton Review, where he taught students, trained instructors, designed courses and served in various corporate roles including Special Project Manager and Director of Marketing. His roles at Haas have included Account Manager for the Financial Services and Real Estate industries, Marketing Manager, and Assistant Director for Career Advising and Programming. As a career advisor, Friedfeld works with all students but has a particular focus in financial services.
